Don't respond by simply dismissing it, but please try to give me an honest (and hopefully detailed) account of what you know about the theory of Evolution.

The foundational base for evolution is the "assumed" date ranges assigned to the different layers of the "imaginary" geologic column, and an "index" fossil assigned to each layer. The geologic column exists only in the text book and is never found complete in nature. The dates given to rocks and fossils are determined supposedly by which layer they are reportedly found in. This dating method was devised over 150 years ago and is entirely speculation. Many uninformed people today believe that rocks and bones are dated by some radio-metric method. This is just not true. They are dated by their position in which layer they are found. All radio-metric methods are calibrated to yield a date corresponding to the index fossil. If the radio-metric method can not match the index fossil, then the data is considered faulty and is discarded. All dates over 5,500 years are disputed. We do not know how old the earth is, or anything else that doesn't come with a date stamped on it.
Evolution is a complete farce from beginning to end.

Evolution is a theory, a believe, as any other believe, because nobody who believe in this have been there when life came to existence. Science is based in observation, and the evolution theory is based on this too. So, what had observed the evolutionists? Creatures that have similar bone structures over the time. Changes in the skulks of the humans, adaptation to the environment. For me, all these features observed in nature are a signal of common design, intellectual design, the signature of an artist that put his owns personality in his works. Evolution teaches that the stronger one is the one that will survive, and this has happened many times, but there are big exceptions. How an evolutionist explains, departing from his or her theory, why an animal can take care or even adopt other animal from a different specie? Only the creator of these animals can explain this mystery from an evolutionist point of view.

I went to the library and checked out the book, "The Ancestor's Tale," by Richard Dawkins if I remember correctly. It's too much to explain here but briefly, they think all mammals evolved from a rat-like animal that lived about 200,000 million years ago (I don't remember if that is in Dakins' book; I got it from another source). There is disagreement among paleontoligists about which fossils are actually ancestors of modern humans; there is one or two that think "Lucy" is an ancestor of chimpanzees, not humans. Most people probably don't know that.
Dawkins did not attempt to explain how life originated.

I am a Christian. I believe that the Earth was created by the 'Big Bang Theory' and that we evolved from apes or so primitive human form. I do not believe that God created the world in seven days; but i do believe the story carries a great meaning to help us live better lives. The story was written for primitive Jews 7,000 years ago so they could understand it easy. Call me an Atheist or whatever you want but I don't sit there all day fighting on Gods side trying to prove the Old Testament literally, I read it and take the meanings to live a good life.

It's interesting that so far, no-one has said ANYTHING about Evolution.

I would have expected at least seeing the name of Charles Darwin here, but so far, I've not even sean a Beagle (I hope someone at least gets that reference.)

Anyway, I've never seen one point against evolution that hasn't been addressed by Darwin, let alone anyone else of consequence. I'm interested in seeing what shows up here.

Evolution is part of the natural process God set in motion at creation. It insures that species will adapt to their environment.

Read the first chapter of Genesis to see how God set evolution in motion (God said, "Let the waters bring forth living creatures ... let the earth bring forth creatures of every kind").

There is no conflict between the Bible and the theory of evolution; there is, however, a conflict in the way some people interpret the Bible and the theory of evolution. These are the people who need enlightening.

I know about evolution from classes. You really can't expect Christians to be ignorant on the subject when it's required across the country for graduation.

I personally have several fundamental questions about evolution that have never been satisfactorily answered, and when I ask them, I'm insulted instead. That tells me that evolutionists don't know enough about the theory to explain it and rely on emotional responses--something you would expect from children.

That says nothing of the theory itself, except that it's not well represented here.

Very clever. If a Christian decides he has better things to do with his time than spend hours detailing what he knows about evolution, you have "proof" that Christians are uneducated and/or unintelligent.

Good question: My first impression was it being "forced" down our throats by liberals in our public schools. Of course that was 1971 and most that was taught then has been completly thrown out by the liberal elite...damn that evidence part!
