There are no cities in Hollywood (Hollywood is simply a district of the City of Los Angeles. Hollywood was originally incorporated as its own city, November 9, 1903 and a little over 6 years later subsequently merged by consolidation with the City of Los Angeles on February 7, 1910.

Hollywood is NOT it's own city. It is a neighborhood/area in the City of Los Angeles. It is not incorporated as a seperate city and it part of LA, it recieves all it's public services (i.e police, fire, ect) from the City of Los Angeles. West Hollywood is it's own incorporated city with it's own government. North Hollywood is part of the city of Los Angeles like Hollywood.
