i have an internet ph in nz with a californian number
how would i ph out to arkansas do i need an area code all i have a the hotel in bentonvilles number?

I didn't really understand your question, but yes, you would need an area code, and if your phone is from an international provider, you may have to dial the country code also (1). So try dialing 1+area code+number (1-xxx-xxx-xxxx).

yes, with any softfone you need to dial the whole number......including area code....
