I'm trying to redo my room and my crazy dad won't let me do hardly anything. i have discovered that blue promotes peaceful sleep and i want to do my room with blue but i don't want it to be super overpowering. i'm not allowed to paint the walls, which is stupid, and my room is only 11ft by 11ft. ITS TINY. my bed is full size so i have like no room. plus, i don't have the time or energy or HANGARS to hang up my clothes so i sleep on like 1/3 of my bed and the other 2/3 is taken up with like all of my clothes. i'm about to go insane because i feel so closed in and also i feel like i look awful all the time because all my pants gap at the waist (big big butt stretches the waist line, any tips for that?) and i don't know how i'm supposed to store stuff. the skinniest boxes don't fit underneath my bed and my closet is about as big as a phone booth. please help!

My bedroom is 11ft by 9ft, my closet is small, narrow and under the stairs. I share the bedroom with my husband. It's small but it's not impossible to organize well.
Before moving into this charming but small home, I always had large closets to hang most of my clothes in. So I can understand your frustration, but you need to adjust. Your room is big enough for at least two dressers (we have 3 in ours). You need to start folding some of your shirts and jeans and putting them in the drawers. Roll them into a tube shape to lessen wrinkles. If they do wrinkle, you can throw them into the dryer with a damp towel for 10-20 minutes to get the wrinkles out before you get dressed. This is also a good time for you to learn how to iron. Any clothing that is seasonal can be stored in decorative boxes, either in a stack in the corner of your room, or the storage area of your home.
You can get bed risers for your bed to gain more space under your bed. Over-the-door shoe organizers are a cool way to show off your shoe collection. You can find these items at Targert, Kmart, Walmart and organization stores.
If your dad doesn't object to putting nails or tacks in the walls, you can get some decorative art posters to bring blue into your room. If he does object, you'll have to rely on accessories and fabric like rugs, pillows, lamps, memorabilia and nick-nacks to surround yourself with blue.
Be creative in finding solutions, you can be proud of yourself for taking the iniative to make a positive change in your environment!

First of all I would spend more time adjusting my attitude if I were you I think it looks worse then your room or your clothes . Be thankful that you have a room, bed, and clothes. When you take on a different outlook on life then you can have some fun decorated your room.
try to organize and clean first that will make a huge difference. Make your bed ...wrinkle free! fluff the pillows too. As for your clothes, Fold then very neatly and stack in the closet either on the shelf or the floor, jeans and bottoms in a pile, tops the another, small items such as sock and underclothing can be placed in a cute basket which can be purchased for just a few dollars. Then accessorize with things that you like or enjoy, ideas such as photos of family and friends, CDS, your hair products and makeup can be display like you may see displayed in a store. All this can be done for no or little cost at all. Good Luck and Work on the attitude!! Who knows when you stop thinking your father is crazy, he might decide to let you paint or purchase some items of your choice.

First I sugjest that you take inventory and donate the stuff you realy dont use, and there are hangers you an bye that hang over five prs of pants on one hanger, then you might want to place some home made shelfs like planks of wood on top of milk crates make them colorfull bye contact paper, then i would bye or make some blue curtains, they will bring the look of blue to your eyes, and you can also use a blue bed spread or comforter, that is if you can get rid of the so called cluter. okey??

wallpaper can be put up without ruining your walls use tape , buy barrels that stack on
top of each other and label them or get the clear ones so you know whats in them. walmart has them for about 8 bucks at the most. they also have a cool new bedroom collection and you can put things together. i seen a blue comforter set it was sky blue with white clouds on them. get some candles glass lamps and furry rugs, nice pictures, matching curtains with a sheer white one underneath, use your imagination walmart has a lot of nice thing for teens. as for jeans get them in stretch sizes but go down one size so when you put them on and wear them for a couple of hours it will adjust to your waist and thighs and fit comfortably, trust me i have that problem with my daughter and i find them pants work wonderful. she has a huge bottom for a 5 yr old. GOOD LUCK
