I'd probably skip the resort hotels in the Poconos. Friends of ours stayed in Cove Haven 2 years ago and it was especially skeevy. One thing they didn't know before they booked was that they had to eat dinner with other couples at the same table if they wanted to take advantage of the package they booked. They ended up paying extra to go out to dinner.
However, my friend went on her honeymoon at Caesars last year and they really liked it. From the way she described it, it sounded like summer camp for grown ups, but they seemed to have a good time.
PA is a pretty big state. More details would really help.

RE:
Looking for a honeymoon place close to PA?
I live in Pennsylvania and after my fiance and I get married I'm not able to take very much time off of work to go somewhere far away from a honeymoon. Any suggestions of nice places in/near PA for a few days?

Go to Cove Haven or Cesears in Mt. Pocono, PA. They cater to honeymooners. Very nice places. Heart shaped baths, champagne, the works.

My parents went to the Poconos for their honeymoon, it was like 27 years ago. Isn't that in PA?

I don't know what part of PA you are from -but this place should be w/in a day's drive. It is 1 hr south of Columbus, OH.
This place is totally awesome -I hate to just post a link, but check out the website. You have a ton of privacy, it is completely quiet & relaxing. Better yet, if you like outdoor activities, there are caves, hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, etc. nearby.

Niagara Falls is a good idea...
There are also places in the Pocono Mountains to go for romantic trips.

well bucks county is gorgeous. you can stay at a cute little b&b in new hope , shop the cute shops, walk over the bridge to lambertville, see the park and the lake, shop the antique stores, ride the new hope and ivyland rail...it's a very walkable, super cute town. also, cape may in nj is really nice and since the weather will be warm soon, a beach honeymoon would be great.
