I have already had NCO withdraw one hundred dollars from my account and they are scheduled to take another 312 out monday. And then another 312 out at the end of april and then they said my debt would be paid. What am I to do? After reading up on this a little more, I called them and they said that since i agreed on the phone for them to take it out the money, the Electronic Check has already been processed (for this month/312) and they said if I stop payment, I will have a bad check floating around, Is this correct? They have my account number and routing number. I do owe a lil money on a credit card, and thats the debt they said they was coming after. They were some rude people, and i think it is bogus, but i dont want a check floating around out there that I have apparently electronically signed. What am I to do??? SHould I close the account or continue to pay NCO??

I have NCO collecting an old Wells Fargo credit card of mine. They are doing a settlement for you, sounds like. It is true that you will have a bad check in the system if you stop payment. And, if you do, you could be liable for their banks fees associated with it. I assure you its not bogus and once you pay their 2 payments youll be done with them

Mr Hardy Wright at NCO is a butthole, very rude person. I paid Paypal $44.61 1.5 years ago and now NCO is calling. Thats OK Paypal has the payment and the FTC were notified.

Seems NCO has had many problems in the past, they just ran into someone that doesn take crap from rude people

Call the bank and put a STOP PAYMENT!

You have to prioritize. If you need money and need to hold payment, do it!

And if you are sick of NCO Financial, call them and ask for their address, send them a letter telling them that you want them to stop contacting you!

If you want go to your bank and close your account!

Those collectors are stupid.

It sounds like you should stop payment and cancel your account with them. It really sounds scammish. One bad check generally won't ruin your credit score.

by hearing they were rude i would say they are not professional and I would notify my bank not to allow them to touch the account...on the other hand...handing out your routing number etc is dangerous and it would be good if you could close and reopen another account
