I'm 20 years old and getting married and have been saving up to take my fiance to Hawaii for our honeymoon, though I've never traveled much before. I hate to say that I'm ignorant on basically all that must be done, from pre-travel procedures to the airport to the destination and all. If anyone out there understands what must be done well, I would truely appreciate your help lol. Thanks!

Go talk to a travel agent. They can get you some great package deals, and know everything you have to do to travel. Even if you don't end up booking through an agent, they can still give you lots of good information. We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon and the travel agent was the greatest. We were taking a cruise once in Hawaii, and didn't know what all we were supposed to do. She helped us with every step. They know not everyone is an experienced traveler, and they are always willing to answer all your questions. Good luck, and enjoy the islands!

First, Congrats on your future wedding. Your question is a little vague but I will try and help you out here. First for your pre-travel, go to expedia.com or another travel sight and look for vacation packages to Hawaii. You will get your best deal there for the air and hotel portion. Since you are only 20, you will not be able to rent a car from 'every' company, so I would advise you to select the transfer option if offered by the hotel. Depending on where you are going, you won't need a car anyway. Many of the hotels in Hawaii offer tours that will take you to popular sites. If this is your first time in Hawaii, I would suggest Honolulu only because there is a lot to do there... it is a city... with many people, but the beaches are nice and there is much to do within walking distance from the beach. I hope this helps!

I'm not sure how much time you have before you go on your honeymoon, but visit this site: http://www.gohawaii.com/. It is Hawaii's official tourism site and has a section on Honeymoons. They will send you information on all the different things you can do for your honeymoon on all the islands.

I'd recommend Oahu as the island you go to, staying close to Waikiki. There is a lot to do there and the majority of the hotels can arrange transportation for you in the form of shuttles and such to the different tourist sites. Ever wanted to swim with dolphins? You can do this at Sea Life Park there. If you do choose Oahu, I'd highly suggest you get out of the Honolulu area for at least a day and explore the rest of the island. Some of the most beautiful beaches are the least popular ones.

Congratulations and have a great time!

Not sure how much time you have to plan this??? When I booked our trip to Hawaii I researched it on the internet. From there we decided on Maui. Then I checked into Expedia and some of the other travel sites on the net and we ended up going with Expedia because they had the best travel times and prices for the time we wanted. With the online travel sites you can browse all of the hotels, B & B's, condo's etc. to see which is the right price and right size for your needs. Heck I found out you can even rent a tent and camp out on the beach in Maui! We didn't do that but when we got there we saw many who did just that. I wish you Much Happiness in your upcoming marriage and happy hunting for the best deal for you.

P.S. Don't book to many sightseeing trips online cuz we did and spent all of our time running instead of saving some time for just being lazy on the beach. If you'd like more info you can e-mail me at kdolady@yahoo.com.

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage. I want to show you something that will save you money on your trip to Hawaii and it also has the opportunity to make a lot of money with it. I don't know how much your trip is going to cost, but I have a lifetime travel and resort membership that gives you access to over 5000, 4 and 5 star resorts, yes, including a bunch in Hawaii. The membership is $2995 one time fee. For 8 days and 7 nights you never spend more than $699 for your entire family (including Hawaii). Being that you're going to be newly married, wouldn't it be nice to make a bunch of money. This membership allows you to make a lot of money as well. Please visit www.VisibleWealth.com for more information and to look up a resort in Hawaii. Best of luck.
