I can be considered a nerd because i am not very athletic, am really smart and make good grades. However, I talk slang, not like out of a dicitionary, have lots of friends, love sports, and run track- so I can't be a total nerd I guess.
I am self confident and like to act conceited because I enjoy playing the part, but i am very nice and agreeable when people are civil to me. I have a dry, quick wit, and enjoy jokes.
I am about 5'8", slim, but not bony, have short dark brown hair, and dark brown eyes that I would like to say are "expressive."
Just tell me what you think.

It is truly amazing how many have already misunderstood me completely.
The whole deal with acting conceited is that I enjoy playing a role. Key word- acting, i know I'm not all that.
The real problem is that it is impossible to get people to accurately understand you- strangers don't know you and people you do know can't really tell you.
And I don't think I'm a nerd, but some people do.

And believe me when i say that I always act in character- I ALWAYS act myself, i don't try to be someone I'm not, so please don't misunderstand me.

The fact that you are asking this question, together with your enjoyment of acting conceited, makes me doubt that you are as self-confident as you'd like to be. If you were, you wouldn't want to put on an act, especially one that is likely to turn off nice people. I think you are afraid they WILL think you're a nerd and reject you, so you take care of it in advance.
However, sensible women often enjoy the companionship of nerds, so you should not be worried about being a nerd! My own husband is a nerd and I believe they make great husbands! Be content with who & what you are and you will be a pleasant companion who will draw others to you.

You sound like a nice guy, although slang doesn't really make a great impression on women. You don't have to be a nerd to speak properly. Other than that, if you are talking physically, you would need to include a picture.

Anyone that likes to "act conceited" is a total tool.

I think you are trying to play a part you think is tempting to the ladies and not being yourself. PLENTY of women like "nerds" because they are reliable.

PS you might want to speak correctly because eventually you will not be able to communicate professionally and could potentially be passed up for a job when you graduate.

1. nothing's wrong with nerds, lol.
2. if you run track then you're somewhat athletic, no?
3. "nerd" is self explanatory about the good grades and the smartness.
4. confident? enjoy jokes? nice? agreeable? good job =]
and 5. conceited... eh... not exactly an admireable (sp?) quality...?

Sounds a lot like me. I hate it when guys think they're too cool, or atheletic to get good grades. Slang is not my thing, I really don't like it, I mean, if it's the normal language, a bit of slang here and there, it's fine, but too mcuh is too much.
I don't know what you want to know other than that, I really dont care how guys look, as long as they take care of themselves, and don't dye their hair black. I hate that look, it looks just bleh *I know, I lack the correct term, and yes, this is completely opinionated* Expressive eyes?? Meaning, easy to read?? That's good I guess, although I don't see how it matters.....

hm. well if you always act like your self, and you like to act conceited, it sounds like you're a little overly self confident and maybe obnoxious (because you're ACTING conceited), which is a big turnoff for girls.
Other than that, if you are a nice good guy, you are definately my type! I like nerdy boys who have a good body and personality, and that basically sounds like you. way better than jocks!

You sound nice (not geeky) other than the playing the part of concieted. I don't know you personally, that's true. However,if you enjoy the part, then it may not be an act after all.

so far, its good, but i don't know if what you say is my opinion of those traits. everybody says they're funy, and they might be to some people, but that's their opinion. i can't tell from this written question - i have to see you. by the way, just cuz you're not athletic doesn't make you a nerd

Nerds can be athletic you know ;-)

But overall...I think you seem wonderful. With the expection of the concieted and the slim...I like my guys slightly buff (cuddle-material) and not concieted to the extent of them bragging about themselves. But self confidence is good.

Let me repeat- overall you seem wonderful :-) :-) :-)

Wow you sound just like my dad. You sound nice. A lot of girls like nerds. You should have no problem finding dates, just don't go for the stuck up supermodelish girls, go for the more normal ones.
