He wont help out with chores, dinner nothing all that concerns him is going out plus he never does anything nice for me, i dont want to sound like a nag but this is how it is? I need some advice

oh sweetie no! you sound nothing like a nag, promise.
first of all, if you can apply a hella lot of love songs to yall's relationship and you couldnt let him go for anything at all, then you need to sit down and have a T-A-L-K. a serious heart to heart. relationships are 50/50 in everything... let him know. try not to make it sound whine-ish or it'll flow through one ear and outta the other [you know how guys are...! lol] and you DEFINATELY want to have his complete attention... otherwise you wont reach a compromise.
also, maybe talk about splitting things up. he doing such and such while you do something else.
however, if your relationship leaves much to be desired [besides what you described in your question...] then maybe you should evaluate what you have with him and if youre any better off without it?? =/

First you should not live with someone that is not your parents or yourr husband! My advice is to you is to move out! Women love to make this mistake we give our love, body and money away and don't so any work!! If you would really begint o search him out beofre you open your legs and heart to him you would probably knew he was a lazy bomb from the start!! Honey put him out and make a decison to put you first and stop taking shorts form life and men!! Set the bar alittle higher than you have!!

Well, I used to be in this same situation and as bad as it sounds, I just stopped doing his 1/2 of the work. For example, I didn't wash his clothes, but I'd wash mine. I would cook dinner but only enough for myself. After a while he began to realize that I was not going to tolerate him doing nothing. He got angry at first, but when he didn't have clean clothes to wear or food to eat, he had to do something. This may or may not work for you, but it did for me. Then afterwards, we talked about things and divided up jobs. Every now and then, we have to revisited our obligations though. It'll never be perfect!

He probably things since your there why should he do anything? He might be on of those chauvinistic type of guys. I think he might be just using you for sex. Get rid of him with a quickness. BF and GF living together is a BAD idea.

tell him how you feel about the fact that he is being a lazy a$s around the house.
then tell him explicitly that you want him to help or you may be looking for a different living situation.
good luck, you deserve a guy who respects you and treats you right. if he is not willing to do that, then tell him you will find someone who is. :-)

well this is just a small preview of marriage if you two ever get married. tell him to help. if that doesn't work, don't do anything around the house. and wait til he does something. if he never does anything. you have a problem...

i would think twice about saying yes if he asks you to marry him in the future---he'll do the same thing---marriage won't change his present behavior
