Or is the US holding back? What should the US do to get more Iraqis killed? Didin't Hitler, and many other killers use the same exuse America did to commit genocide? They all claimed they were "saving the country". Anyone can claim this if they want to kill and then toss loads of bombs claiming they couldn't help it if people get killed by "mistake". After all, "We are freeing them from the evil dictator" who was killing them anyway. THAT dictator Saddam had did the killing during the 1980's and this is the 2000's. Sort of late for that excuse for genocide, isn't it?

Personally, I feel that supporting the troops means getting them out of Bush's Iraqi meatgrinder. This war was a huge mistake and both soldiers and innocents in Iraq have paid the price for Bush's ego and his not having the guts or grace to admit he lied and that this is a irresponsible action. Too many have died for this little coward's ego. The American people don't want us in Iraqi. The Iraqi don't want us there either and we cannot shove our democracy down their throats if they do not choose to have it. I heard a while back that the toll of people dying in Iraq is about 655,000. Add to that the almost 3200 US troops killed and about 25,000 more wounded and some maimed for life. The price they pay is too high. Anybody can wave the flag and speak about morality and family values.....mom, chevrolet and apple pie. That does not make them a patriot any more than it makes them have good sense. Bush and Republicans are out of touch and have lost reality about this. If the Bush administration were half as honorable and brave as the soldiers he is sending to die, then this war would never have occurred. He is a petty little lying coward. Cheney is just as bad. We are now the most hated country in the world. I work with a girl from Iraq and she recently lost her sister and brother in law. She said that she used to think Saddam was the worst thing that could happen to Iraq.....until the Americans came. That to me says it all.

"I'm am sorry to hear you don't support our troops that are in harms way. This is typical of most Demcocrats."
I would suggest that your memory is failing you. Remember Vietnam????? It damn sure wasn't Democrats running around with all the protest signs.

ha ha. the U.S. is holding back. if our military was allowed to really go to work, there would be much less a threat of terrorism. and no we haven't killed nearly as many as Saddam. Also, if you live in America and you think it's so bad then why don't you leave? Also, i think you kind of compared George to Hitler there. kola cat in respone to your answer that is TREASON! and don't say "if this be treason make the most of it!" This IS! how dare you talk about something you have no idea about! It makes me more of a Patriot when i defend our views than YOU when you say all those horrible, nasty, hateful things!

Comparing our military people to Nazis is evil. You are a disgrace to our country. Most Iraqi civillian deaths have been caused by other Arabs. There is no genocide happening in Iraq, do you even know what that word means? Do you know what the meaning of "is" is?
