i just got bitten by something as big as a cockroach and it had some sort of resembelance but i didn't get a good look at it cause it got away. please help!!

Cockroaches do not normally bite people. A fair-to middling sized biting insect is the the reduviid bug , aka assassin or kissing bug. They're not common in the US, though they may be found in the south.
Hope that was not it, since they may carry a nasty illness: Chagas disease. Read up on these if you want nightmares.

roaches do sometimes bite people, last summer my dad had roaches and they got bad while he was sick and we notice sores on him turns out with orkin got the roaches the sores went away.
