i think that society does care. but they're in a fantasy would that they believe, " nothing will happen." what they fail to realize is that something is bound to happen with all this pollution floating around. if not it already is happening.
it's because they believe that it doesn't affect them personally that's why they don't care. just wait until someone they care about gets sick or possibly themselves...they will turn into the best polution activist you could imagine.

What makes you think people don't care about pollution? I don't know where you are but I live in the U.S. and here the air and water is much cleaner than it was 50 years ago. A lot has been accomplished. Your question reveals your inexperience and ignorance.

Some do, I'm sure. But earth goes right on what nature does and filter it out or ignores it. Nobody can change, 'improve', or 'fix' nature. It' s waste of money to try. That's simply the truth.

many people do ,but they do not tend to be Christians ,because they think that Jesus is coming to save them and they are looking forwards to that very beautifull place in the sky
they forget that they must die first to qualify
the pagans care a lot because they think that this world is already a paradise ,and they want to enjoy it with out dying

It's easy for each person to think he/she has nothing to do with it or what little he/she might do to change it won't matter.
It would be a lot better if each person thought of one thing to do to reduce pollution in their personal activities.
