If my mom ever died, could my step dad take me in if he wanted to and i didn't want to live with my dad? Im just wondering.

yes-- i was 16yrs. old didn't wont to stay with my
real father---- moved in with a good friend and her
parents for 2 yrs.....

If you are old enough to make your own decisions, I wouldn't worry about it. Tell your step dad to file for custody if your biological father is no good. I grew up the same way and lived with my step father through highschool--and glad I did. My biological father showed up many years later at a funeral to try to get his paws on my inheritance. Sometimes your real family is the worst thing for you. Good luck to you.
