Duct tape is designed with a specific purpose in mind. Just because it's sticky like the stuff you use to wax your body with doesn't mean it's good for that purpose. Why would you use duct tape when you can easily get affordable wax at any drugstore?

Oh, no! Duct tape is for use on air conditioning and heating ducts. Don't ever use it on your body or face. It is really sticky and will do damage to your top layers of skin. She should get her face professionally waxed at a beauty salon. They know how and with each treatment, less hair grows back.

Duct tape rips of the hair but damages the folicles. Waxing softens the folicles opens them up and slowly pulls them out. Duct ape hurts more than waxing so I prefer waxing

well, if you've got fine hair that can actually be pulled off with the tape, go for it.
it's just like waxing, which also can pull off your skin.

but i wouldn't recommend pulling off hair on your face.
your whole face is going to end up stubbly :-/
