OMG!!!! Your sooo lucky! If you go there are you going to bet? If you do, then pick Nobiz Like Shobiz if he is entered... (which I'm sure he will be)
Anyways just wear a really nice dress like a bright summer color with the fancy hat and nice shoes. Like just look nice and show your pride! lol

You want to look nice.Look at pitchers of what they used to wear at big parties in the south.plantation owners wives and daughters.A full dress fancy hat(Bonnet) kinda like an Easter outfit.Also you could wear depending on your taste and shape something sexy in a dress style show a little leg but by all means do not forget the hat and even a parasol(umbrella) for the use of shade not rain hopefully.Have fun wish I was going its such a great day The Kentucky Derby Watch out for the California horses.

It depends on where you are going to be.
Infield: shorts, jeans, tee-shirts.
Bench seating: Somewhat more formal, dress and hat if you like.
Box seating, "Millionaires Row": Dress to be seen, fancy hats are a must.
Have a great time, I'll be at my 48th Derby this year.

All depends where you are sitting. In the infield with 20,000 others, comfort is key. Forget the damn hat, too many already. The grandstand is dirty. Be prepared not to make many bets, as it is a cattle herd. Do not forget the sun screen.
Done it once, will never do it again.

If you have a reserved seat,I would say you want to wear something nice.Be sure and wear a hat,comfortable shoes and sunscreen. Have fun!! If you are going to be in the infield,casual dress is ok.

Spring/floral dress (Be prepared for the warm Kentucky spring) and a bonnet. The bonnet can have flowers, ribbons, bows, or all of the above.

dress up as if you are going equestrian style. If you win admit that you just like the idea of riding one of those big horses that jumps over fences. If you lose, just say you thought it was Halloween. lol :)
