In Greek mythology
Iris is goddess of the rainbow and a messenger of the gods. She is often carrying messages for Hera. She was the daughter of Thaumas and Electra, one of the Oceanids and not the daughter of Agamemnon. Her sisters were the fearful harpies. She had no cult following and no temples dedicated to her. In some legends she is the mother of Eros by Sephyrus.

In Hindu Religion it is INDRA(the cheiftain of angels).Paganism,they say, originated from Hindu Religion-because Paganism uses the names of two demi gods Mitra and Varuna.Rg Veda (the oldest repository of Human knowledge,according Western Indologists-Max Mueller-German- and Sir.Monier Williams-Englishman) contain a lot of references on Mitra and Varuna

i am a bit rusty on the Egyptian gods and goddesses but i believe that Osiris was husband to Isis. or possibly a consort.

Osiris is the consort of Isis.
