The Basic Premise of the Religion of Islam is...

Allah is intimately concerned with the cultivation of Humanity into the Divinity which is its Destiny. To that end, entire submission to the Will of God, Who is the Architect and Orchestrator of the Universe and all therein, is given as the Key to True and Lasting Peace, and the Only True Path to the fulfillment of Man's Divine Purpose. This Course necessarily includes often intense struggles against the defects within Self as well is in the environment (world).

Also, man's current condition, or state of affairs, is a glaring example of his own inability to Guide himself, and of his need for Guidance from the Wisdom of the Creator.

Those who accept Divine Guidance, and can endure the hardships inherent in following that Guidance, ultimately and eventually find Peace in Oneness with Allah (God).
