A bacterial infection will give you the sh!ts and vomitting for 1-3 days and usually little or no fever. The Flu is viral and can last up to 7 days in extreme cases. With the flu you get a fever, chills, aches and usually vomitting without the sh!ts.

Three days. I had it last winter on christmas day. Keep drinking water even thou you will vomit keep drinking so you won't dehydrate. Sincerely; Nurse
