you could make jello and before it cools and solidifies, you can put other things in it, such as other small bits of vegetables, like peas into it to represent other organelles of the cells such as lysosomes and the nucleus and mitochondria(use kidney beans b/c they are the same shape) and chloroplasts(only in plant cell, remember), etc. and let it solidify in your fridge with those other objects in it. It will work well, since jello is the samish consistancy as cytoplasm! Make sure you have a key!

for a plant cell you need of course a cell wall so you can put it in a clear plastic container. As the jell-o is just starting to set put in your organelles ie a manderin (little orange) maybe as the nucleus, peas for chloroplasts, maybe a plastic bag for the large vacuole and whatever else you need to add.

For an animal cell you could try to put it in a plastic bag (no holes!!!!) and add similar things (but not of course chloroplasts or a large vacuole!).

You may have to add things at different times (ie the heavier the later you add them to your jell-o as they will sink to the bottom.

Good luck...this is fun

well i would take the jello out of like the cup and put it on a plate then i would take a knife and just carve it no matter what it'll be 3-D because the jello like is 3-D so thats how i would do it and if you need help with the picture of an animal cell i'd google it on pictures!!

hope i could help!
