High potency MJ (Chronic) clearly has withdrawal. In mice, they become irritable, refuse to follow commands, and shake like a wet dog.
In addition humans get intense craving. the MJ withdrawal can go on for weeks.
there really is not any drug help with withdrawl.
I suggest going to a daily NA meeting: My name is _____ and I want to be marijuana free. do not say you are an addict unless you believe it.

Bro, I smoked herb on a daily basis from 1997-1999. Were talking at least a quarter a day (shared with girlfriend), and it consumed my Life. I was stoned more than I was sober....on Feb 19th 1997 I smoked some laced pot (someone spiked it), It put me in the ER and I quit that night, and have never smoked again. Not one time.
It does NOT have a addiction like withdrawl like narcotics, but it is psychologically addictive. I jonesed for a good 2-3 weeks, I couldnt watch cheech and chong or none of the pot culture things for a good year...but time heals everything...and now I'm fine. I can be around it, and NOT want to smoke it. Here is some tips.
1. She HAS to loose any friends associated with pot
2. Throw away all bowls, papers, bongs etc..
3. Super clean everything. Finding one seed could cause her to relaspe. She cant see pot, smell it, find stems or seeds...
Good luck, and your welcome to email me for any additional support you two may need it.

The one that said potent is correct, but any pot is pot. NA is the place, like any addictive habit or disease, peers and counseling is the way out.
Support from a group of recovering peoples is also much better than going it alone. You can attend also, And are encouraged to, co-dependents or somesuch thing are also encouraged to help in the recovery path.
Good Luck, well luck has nothing to do with it, if the addict is truly ready to quit, it can happen.

get her away from the source aka the dope dealer.
i am lucky. the dealers don't sell weed to me these days and it's the most effective way of getting off the drug. find a life clean from thc. exercise and eating healthy foods will improve duration of the detoxification.
try not to switch addiction to tabbacco and alcohol .. etc
the traits the successful ones around me all seem to share is keep themselves busy and eat better.

Addiction is partly a mind thing so maybe counseling would help.
