Well, instead of taking it out on yourself, question all the people around you and figure out what's going on so that you can make enough sense of it all to not hurt yourself about it.
once you get a clear picture of things then you can try to figure out how to get in control more than you are now and you won't be bothered by the idea of hurting yourself or others in the process.

Take a deep breath. Find an online support group so there is someone you can spill everything to and they will all respond and be there for you, giving you advice, going through the same things, etc. Don't hurt yourself - trust me - because when things get better (and even though it doesn't seem like they will, they will) then you end up with scars and you have to explain them for the rest of your life. TRUST me. Find someone you can confide in, talk to someone. Maybe see a professional, even if you don't think they can "help" you, at least they will listen to you, right? You are just stressed out and pressured right now. Take a day off from life and go do something you enjoy, like... go see a movie you want to see, or take a really long bath, eat a tub of ice cream, go play with animals in a pet store, spend an afternoon reading in a book store, get a pedicure (male or female, those really are lovely), get a new haircut, pamper yourself or decide to make a change and change something. Get a new outfit, take a walk in a nice park, do SOMETHING that YOU enjoy and helps you - even if just a teeny bit - remember who you are. Follow your heart and your desires in life! If you want to go swimming, or paint, or scream, or jump up and down, do it for one day. I bet it will make you feel better. Just stop hurting yourself, trust me - from experience here - when you feel better (it may feel like a million miles away) you will feel so bad that you have scars from what you did when you were so low. There are highs AND lows in life, go have some happy experiences for a day. And if you don't really feel like it, if you are THAT low in your heart that you need to sit in the dark doing nothing feeling bad, then get up and do it anyways. I swear you will feel better.

Hurting yourself physically a lot of times numbs the mental pain, so what you're doing makes sense ... however there are many other ways that we would ALL prefer you try:
1) Exercise helps SOOO much. Sign up at a gym or go on a hike. When you're done, the exhaustion numbs the pain and can even make you forget for the moment!
2) Go volunteer somewhere. When I was depressed, helping children or senior citizens ALWAYS made me feel better. They appreciate you so much, you feel like you're totally worth something!
3) Pray. Speaking to God and telling him/her that you need him/her allows you to open yourself up for help. And it will happen.
I will pray for you too :)

you need to talk to someone. I know hurting yourself helps relieve so much stress. I understand where you are coming from. But once you start doing this its going to get worse. You should talk to someone about it.

Go to a batting cage and 10 about 20 balls. You'll feel fine.
The whole "I don't know who I am anymore" is a total crock. You just don't want to deal with your life. EVERYONE has a lot and terrible stress in their lives. Everyone. Grow up and deal with it.
