I'll be honest with you and I'm 16, I've been in a relationship for a year plus now and me and my girlfriend are really close - we've done a lot of things for another pleasure wise, and at one point we prepared a lot of things so we could have clean safe sex, but in the end we realized it'd be a lot smarter if we love eachother the way we do, to wait until later in life, perhaps when we can afford an accident. 11-14 is just crazy, and I have to say yes 15-18 is rather crazy too, I can't see myself having sex anytime soon.. my relationship isn't THAT strong, and if it was, I'd be smart like I am now and wait.. sex is a sign of love, but people use it for pleasure it seems.

11-14 is way too young!!! It shouldn't happen until at least 17 or 18, and that is only if you are in a relationship. Don't do it until you are ready. Don't let anyone pressure you, or do it just because 'everyone else is'.

Im not going to sit here and say wait till your married or anything like that. But i think people should be in a position where they are financial ready to have a baby. Condoms, birth control, etc are not 100% and are only as consistent as the people who use them. So you never know. Im going to say at least 20 but its hard to put a number for everyone because people have different financial and emotional situations.

There are different ways of seeing this kind of things actually. It depends on the thinking of the person how they choose their lives.

People who are more conservative will choose to do it after they found the person they loved and got married with them. People who are more open-minded and passionate may have different views.

This may be a sensitive topic to some people but just answer with an open-mind.

whenever you feel ready for it; and not just hormones. you have to commit yourself to whatever possible repercussions could result from sex. and i think anyone below age 18 is definitely NOT ready for sex! even some older people aren't. just wait until you find the right person at the right time.

I think when you are in HS you should be able to have sex. Most people in my HS aren't virgins anymore.. Not 11-14, most of them havent even hit puberty yet.

When you are old enough to take on the responsibilities. Do you want to be a mommy at 15? I would hope not! This and catching STD's needs to be considered.

i dont think there really is a "right" age...i think it's just whenever u KNOW that youre ready...im not saying if youre 12 and u think youre ready, cuz youre probly not. if u know what the possible consequences are/all the risks ur taking, and that you, as well as your body is ready, then i think theres no issue.....

I think that you should wait till you are 20 years old to have sex.
