Our cat had her second litter just a week ago on Thursday, and the first and last kitten have been fighting with each other since day one. They'll scratch at each other for space.

And around the next day, we noticed the last kitten who fights with the first had opened one eye a little bit, and the next day it was even more open.

Isn't it too early for this? And if it is, isn't it bad?

Your right that it was a little early but thats nothing to worry too much about. If you start seeing redness around the eyes or if the cat is running into things contact your vet.

Kittens usually open their eyes around the age of seven to ten days, i've got had lots of kittens in my time and function by no skill seen a kitten on the age of three-4 weeks that has not had their eyes open.

Every kitty is different. And don't worry my last kitty when he was a kitten got his own claw almost caught in his eye, missed it by a cenimeter or so. He lived a long and happy life. The kitten that can see now will have more of an advantage now.

Kittens open their eyes at 7-10 days old.

That is fine. nothing is wrong when a baby kitten is opening its eyes early. I would worry if the kittens eyes were not open.

It's earlier than usual, but if there's no sign of injury or infection it's probably OK.
