What is wrong with Kasey this year? He starts soooo good, but then messes up or something goes wrong.
(DON'T SAY ANYTHING MEAN, EITHER!!!)

Bad luck for one thing. And also it can be evernham. None of the evernham cars are doing good. Kahne's teammates sadler and riggs are doing terrible also. I wouldn't worry. Just give it some time. You seen how bad harvick was a couple years ago, then last year he had a good year. Some years teams just have off years. And there were 5 roush cars in the chase for the cup 2 years ago, now kenseth is the only one doing good. It is racing and bad luck happens. Kasey Kahne is a good driver and he will eventually come out of the slump.

This is my assessment. He has a big, dark, stormy cloud above his head (I think it is moving from Biff to Kasey). If not for his awful luck, he would be setting pretty right now. But, look for things to improve. At Bristol, he sounded so much better on the scanner. More confident and comfortable. He has been leading the team for four weeks, and now he can just worry about driving. It will get better.

And, in case you didn't know, Atlanta was all Keith's (his stand in crew chief) fault. Kasey told him what adjustment he wanted, but Keith wouldn't do it. They didn't do it until he was a lap down. He was fast after that, he just couldn't catch a caution to get his lap back. Then, he got collected in the wreck. If Kenny had been there, none of that would have happened.

Kasey has been bitten by the BAD LUCK BUG. Don't sweat it though baby! Kasey will be back on track after Martinsville. That team is too good to stay that far behind. Now, It might be a stretch to see them in the CHASE.. I hope he can make it but he's got a LONGG, LONGG road to hoe. The fact that the chase field was expanded to 12 increases his chances majorly! If it was still 10, He'd be up Pit Lane w/out a Crew! Well, You know what I mean!

Don't worry...Kasey will get back into the groove of things. He's just had some bad luck the past couple of races...i'm not worried, Kasey is an awesome driver and I would bet money on him winning a bunch of races this year

Some of the comment are the same as you hear every hear about Kasey. If he wants to win a championship he needs to get off to better starts than he does every year. Their is plenty of time to still get back in it, but by being so far behind already you pressure yourself and your team, and that is when mistakes happen.

This year there are several teams that are better. So Kasey has fallen into the "midpack"runners but this can be a good thing in the sense they will have a chance to make changes and improvements.
The season is young and all drivers have a slump now and then.
Good luck.
That's all I have to say about that.

Ray Evernham is more concerned with his b cup team (Erin Crocker) than he is with his Nextel Cup teams right now, that's what's wrong. Kasey is a decent driver but has a tendency to push things too early and he's had some bad luck also.

I think mayfeild had the right idea. Ray Evernham has his mind somewhere else. None of his teams are doing very well this year.Kahne is a better driver then his records shows this year.Unless Ray gets his head on straight Kasey should look else where for a ride.

All the girls love Kasey. I agree, it is just a run of bad luck, he is a great driver with a bright future ahead of him. He will be back, not to worry, it is early in the season too, have to work out some kinks in the armor, so to speak.

say anything mean about kasey kahne??? NEVER!!!

kahne is going to have a backwards year this year, start weak but end strong and be, if not champ, in the top 5. i will never say anything mean about kahne, he's my favorite driver and always will be.
