I really respect you and look up to u for trying to understand others religions i think that is awesome! I am a Christian.
Alright, those who believed in Christ and died before Christ came to earth in a human form are not in hell. Before Christ came down and died for our sins they were place in what is called "Abraham's Bosom" ( which is basically a purgatory). When Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again he went down and took them out and took them with him...so they are with the Heavenly Father in Heaven. But no one is sinless we all sin just now that Christ has died from us he has forgiven us for all sin we have done in th epast, present, and future, although, it doesn't mean we should just sin and sin and sin because He will just forgive us.
Jesus died for us.
100% God + 100% Jesus Christ (Son) + 100% Holy Spirit = 100% Trinity
They are all seperate but all one...I know it is hard to understand..on earth we cannot understand anything that is not sealed in time, matter, or space.
A really confusing example : God created something out of nothing....BUT nothing is something.
We cannot understand that because we as humans here on Earth cannot think of anything that is not sealed in time, matter, or space.
Jesus did come down on earth in Human form, but he did not have sin.. He was sinless, perfect, and pure.
I know this may be very confusing.....If you really want to learn more about Christianity you can always email me at strbrryshortck@aim.com or try reading the Bible..I reccomend NIV version...it is much easier to understand.
Hope this helps!!

Jesus never had sin in the Christian view - instead he was sinless, the perfect offering for the world's sins.
Of course, Jesus' death did not do away with orginal sin, nor take away the temptation of sin from believers, nor did it grant salvation to all. Humanity was condemned by one man - Adam but brought a chance at salvation through Jesus, in the Christian view. Who seems more powerful in this scenario?
Jewish people never believed this - instead they believed that Gentiles could be of God by being faithful and following the covenant with Noah. There was no need, in the Jewish faith to have a salvation of Gentiles - it already existed.
Those who followed God went to heaven - even before the NT, in Judaism.
Although, I have never gotten a good answer from Christians as to why God waited so long to save the world. They seem pretty blah to the whole idead of 4,000 years of people being condemned to eternal suffeirng.

The people before Jesus went to "Abraham's bosom" if they believed in God, and the people that didn't believe went to a different part of purgatory. During the days before his resurrection, He went down to purgatory to get the people that believed and brought them up to Heaven. Humans are not sinless, we never were (except Adam and Eve for a time) and we never will be. Jesus is 100% man and 100% God, all at the same time. He was a human and went through all the same temptations as we do, but since he is God, too, he was able to resist them.

There are different schools of thought about this, and I wouldn't want to be dogmatic about it. There is a scripture which says that Christ "preached to the captives in sheol" or the grave so those who had died had a chance to hear Him.
Incidentally, the biggest problem that we have isn't necessarily that we sin, but that we do not, apart from God, have eternal life. This life is given by God in response to placing one's entire existance under the Lordship of Christ.
The Bible in fact teaches that all are sinners EXCEPT Christ and that those who have been "born again" are no longer sinners but have been made new. This does not mean they are incapable of sin but that they have been saved from its penalty and its power. Ultimately they will be saved from its presence.
Jesus was fully human - He ate, drank, slept etc. and was in subjection to His Father. He was also fully God, but He was not His own Father. In that He had a body, He was human. In that God was directly His Father, He was God. There are many views on what this means or does not mean (trinity or not trinity) etc, but the most fundamental issue is not this - at least not in your question. The most fundamental thing seems to be how can the various religions of the world get along? The answer, I believe, does NOT lie in education or knowledge of the other religions, but an internal change which causes the sinful nature to change. This can only happen by becoming what you are not: a child of God rather than a child of mankind, and this only happens if God becomes your Father.
God bless you for your desire to know!
Love in Christ,
Tom

Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. He and God are one, but separate. These are vey difficult concepts to explain in one answer. Jesus was without sin. That is what made Him the only substantial sacrafice as atonement for mans sins.
The spirit of Jesus is God. God is spirit and spirit and sould never die. Therefore, Jesus physically died, just like we will some day.
Time has nothing to do with Jesus' death and their salvation. God is not in time. He is not bound by time. Just as Jesus is eternal, so are His actions. If Jesus died for sins of believers, it was all believers sins for all time (past, present, and future), not just future. You cannot put spiritual things and physical things on the same level with time or anything else.
I do hope you continue to try to understand Christianity. I hope you see the truth in it too. If you are sincere, I believe God will reveal this truth to you. I think you are on the path of converting to Christianity. If not, maybe we can live in peace, but as far apart as our faiths are, I doubt a good portion of the nation of Islam will let it be that way.

1) the people before Jesus gave sacrfices to God to forgive their sins. God told them to because that was their way to ask for forgiveness.
2) now that we have Jesus, we don't have to give sacrifces anymore. Christians do not say that all people are perfect. In fact, we preach that we are all sinful. We all have done wrong and will continue to do wrong. That's why we need a Savior to forgive us and save us from evil.
3)the trinity is probably one of the most confusing parts of christianity. As humans, our minds cannot fathom the trinity so we need faith and trust to just believe that it's true. The Holy Spirit, God the Father, and Jesus the Son are all One. They are connnected and known as One but seperate. (confusing, huh. just have faith for it to be real!) Jesus came down from Heaven and was born as a human. All His life, He knew God and had a connection with Him. Then, when Jesus was on the cross, about to die, He was broken from God because He sinned, by dying. When He rose from the dead, He conquered death and established the connection between God and humans again. Now we can get to heaven if we truly believe that Jesus died for our sins and loves us enough to die for us. This is a short view on Christianity and to understand it more, visit your local church and just have a talk with the minister. I'm sure he can answer your questions better then i can. or just talk to God. Just talk He can hear you and He knows everything in your heart. He loves you and loves when you talk to Him. Hope this helps a little! sorry that it's so long! i couldn't stop typing!

Very good question. Jesus, we believe, is God the son. He was never anything else, even when He died. No human could have endured the physical and mental torture and still love His enemy.
As for the people before Jesus. The bible from first to last demonstrates that the saved throughout history come to faith in exactly the same way-by grace alone through faith alone on account of Christ alone. The apostle Paul quotes the Old Testament extensively to drive home the reality that no one has bee, or ever will be, declared righteous by ovserving the law.
Paul points out to Abraham, the father of the Jews, to prove that salvation comes through faith apart from works that we perform. In his words ;"If, in fact, Abraham was justified by works, he had something to boast about -but not before God. What does the Scripture say? 'Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness." Jesus Christ stands at the apex of history. Just as people today look back in history to Christ's sacrifice on the cross, so too people who lived before the time of Christ looked forward to his sacrifice for them.

Read 1 Peter chapter 2 verse 18 through 20. When Jesus was ressurected He went to the spirits in prison, thoise thst died before salvation was possible and preached tpo them the good news. God is always fair. I know you are muslim, but i feel you are longing to know the 1 true saviour, the only hope for fallen man. Jesus Christ. There is none like Him. So full of mery,so deep with compassion, wish that none would perish, but that all would come to repentance.

People in the Old Testament brought sacrifices to God for their sin. An animal without any blemish was brought and sacrificed. But Jesus was the once and for all sacrifice when He died on the cross.
Jesus Christ is God's Son, but also part of the Godhead.
He knew no sin, that is why He alone was able to be the perfect sacrifice for sin.
The wonderful thing is, that the penalty for you sin has been paid by Jesus. All you need to do is confess your sins to Him, and accept the gift of salvation He freely offers you!

Jesus died for all who have sinned (means all people from all generations, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God), from Adam to the last person living just before Jesus comes for the second time. People, may they be Christians or not (like Adam and Eve, not belonging to any sect). But not all will receive eternal life, only those who believe in Jesus as Saviour and Lord, and those who follow Him in His guidance... even you Muslims are included in the salvation when He died on the cross.
"... WHOSOEVER believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life." - John 3:16
