1JOHN 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1Jo 1:7 But IF we walk in the light, as he also is in the light, we have fellowship one with another: And the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
When someone feels we have sinned we should consider what they say. Examine ourselves and if we are indeed in sin we should be gratefully that it was brought to our attention and repent.
If we are not in sin we should explain why we do not think we are in sin with that individual.
We all sin....so we should be willing to see our sins, repent of them, and return to our christian walk to the end.
Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that OBEY him
Therefore..those who refuse to be in obedience to HIM will not have eternal salvation.
Receive those who confront you with your sins with a grateful heart....and repent.

There is only one answer you will accept here - and are merely trying to preach Christianity.
What I don't understand is those you are targeting don't believe in sin - or at the very least don't believe in it like Christians.
So why do you think asking about sin will help?
And by the way - read the Law in the Old Testament. It was never meant to be what Paul made it into - a measure of sin. Instead it was a system that God gave people in order to do his will. Humans are not perfect - therefore they can ask for forgiveness under the Law - no sacrifice needed. And the Law without faith is dead. It was not the Law that saved - it was devotion and faith in God that granted salvation. Faith only lead one in the desire to do God's will - the Law.

I don't use the term sin. Now, when I am confronted with something that I have done wrong, I admit it, try to make amends if needed and move on with my life. I am a responsible person who cares for others.

I respond in humility, confessing my sin to God, and then I go to the person or people that I sinned against and ask them to forgive me.

I don't care. I really don't. When people judge me, I don't care.
I do, however feel remorse and sometimes even guilt which is also a sin and so I name and site my sins to God and "change my way of thinking". Hopefully next time I don't sin the same way, and yet I still fall short. God loves me in spite of myself for what Jesus did for me on the cross.
But I've noticed that the older I get the more "he increases in me" and "I decrease" which means that those things which I once found so difficult, The Lord has helped me and I have changed my way in that area.
Repeat...
Repeat... for each sin problem that I have.

I have no sin. If you mean mistakes I've made, I take responsibility for them and learn from them. They help me become a better person.
And you? Do you run off to church and confess? Do you ask for forgiveness? Do you really believe that a long dead prophet can remove the hurt you cause others?

I don't acknowledge the Bible as a fit standard for anything since it contains God's instructions for genocide and selling your children and such. But I do have ethical standards based on not causing unjust harm and doing good toward others, and when I have unjustly harmed someone I try to make amends to the person I harmed. It is the ethical thing to do.

First, I lie. Then I do a shot of communion wine and beat the holy crap out of the hypocrite who accused me of sinning.

Repent of it and try my best not to do it again. If it is someone else I hurt by sinning, seek their forgiveness.
