I am afraid I won't be able to afford the tuition. How can I go full time, cover living expenses, books, and manage credit card debt in the thousands, and other bills? I feel so overwhelmed. Should I just not try at all and go for a cheaper school? I really want to shoot for the best.

You better apply for a scholarship as I did. It was the best thing I ever did. I applied to graduate school and had to pay to attend the first 2 semester's. I only went part time and paid about 9 grand in total. I applied for a scholarship and I got it. I am so happy because now, I am graduating.
Do your research now, are the people that attend local schools working for Major companies making top dollar???

Do not let the high tuition price scare you from applying to an Ivy League school. They offer a lot in financial aid packages. In fact, a few schools give a full ride scholarship for those who's family earns less than $40,000 a year to encourage more diversity in the school. I will include some free resources to help locate more money to attend college.

First, the college's financial aid office and website has a list of private scholarships offered from outside organizations and companies. Sometimes a college major's website will list scholarships, too.

Second, the public library has a book listing scholarships with some not even listed on the web.

Third, the high school guidance office has a list of local scholarships for current high school students.

Fourth, fill out the FAFSA form. It will help tap into federal and state need based financial aid along with scholarship money from the college itself. It is based on the parents' income and savings along with your income and savings. The form becomes available on January 1 for the upcoming fall semester or quarter. It needs to be renewed each year until college graduation.

Finally, I recommend joining several free membership scholarship search websites. There are scholarships for a variety of things including ethnicity, clubs, hobbies, and even wearing duct tape to the high school prom. Most are updated on a regular basis. Most offer a customized search based on information entered onto a form on the website.

Good luck!
