I was thinking about asking him if he likes anyone or who he likes and then maybe I can figure out from his answer if he could be into me or not. But then I thought, well what if he asks me who I like?! I don't want to just say "you"... it seems way too risky but what kind of answer can I give to who I like that might leave him guessing?

I think the easiest way is just saying it up front. or you could say something like... "the person I like is standing right in front of me", which is basically the same thing.

Wow I've walked in these shoes. If I were you, I wouldn't directly come out and say that I like this person. Play a little hard to get. Most guys like a challenge, so flirt with him a little bit, but don't seem desperate. If you get a positive vibe like he's digging you then ask if you two can hang out,so you can see him in an outside of school environment.

one time i asked this girl who she liked and instead of telling me who it was she just told me what she liked in a guy and she looked me in the eyes and said she liked guys with nice eyes and then i smiled nervously and she said she liked guys with nice smiles. Well when she looked into my eyes and said all that and that way I was sold on her. So maybe try something like that, but make it so that he knows that you are talking about him. so say all the things you like about him but don't say any names just say you like somone, and describe his features for that person. he will know but you won't sound to desperate.

well you could just say you, it would get that out in the open. or you could just tell him that it's a secret, telling him in a girly, eye to eye way.
but why play the games? it's just too confusing that way.
however you also may punch yourself in the eye when he says it's your friend, and can you ask her if she likes him back...

well first if your not too good of friends with him this will raise suspision but if you are go for it. and if he asks who you like say....a guy. it will let him know that you dont want him to know and that it cuold possibly be him so he has some kind of hint. be sure to be flirty <3 good luck
