Yes, if ur committed to it....There are different thigns that u can do to help with depression is to exercise, choose ur favorite hobby, stay away from negative people........Just relax, don't be so stress cuz stress cause anxiety, so therefore, whenever ur stress at something, just take it easy, don't think it as a big deal...Remember you only live once, why put yourself in these situation.....You know, i always thought that people are homeless and hungry and poor are depress, cuz no one to look over them.....But anyone can be depress over family, friends, work, and relationships.....Sometimes when i'm depress i just think of people who are hungry and malnourish are the ones that needed much of the support in this world...And yet they still have the faith to go on with their life.....I think it's best that you take things little by little...Don't get stress over a little stuff. Stress is the main cause of anxiety and depression...good luck there.

Kava Kava usage had been linked to liver disease, and it is now a prohibited import in some countries. Putting the concept of a "cure" to one side; practice for 20 mins. daily, and when needed, the method at http://www.selfhelpmagazine.com Meditation room; try it out; mantra meditation; repeat the word: "easy", or gaze at a burning candle in a quiet, darkened room. Work slowly up to exercising vigorously for 30 - 60 mins. daily; eat healthily, and keep occupied. 4 Omega 3, & a vitamin B complex supplement daily won't harm, and may help. Some say iodine drops help. If you use St. John's Wort, it can affect other medications, so tell your doctor, and it's a good idea to see one, in case the depression is thyroid gland related.

Exercise can help, and so can meditation. Also, there are breathing methods that can help calm you. But those are adequate only for mild depression and anxiety.
Acupuncture helps some people. And therapy can help quite a lot, even without medications.

I don't think there is a quick cure for these disorders but there are proper treatment procedures that can help such as therapy, and also medication. Speak to a doctor about it and they will let you know what options are available to help cope with these disorders.
