i think its just straight up lines but if you're not sure bring the tatoo artist the pic and say i want that and show them.

I would bring in the pic to the shop and have your artist interpret it for you. It looks really cool, I like it!

its just a band dude. likely a cover up due to it all being black..but i dunno..still looks cool...kinda like the bar code tat thing that was popular back in the day.

That's a "band" tattoo. Is in arm-band, leg-band.
