In revelation 7:1
1After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree.

So why haven't we located the East and West poles like we have located the North and South poles? Hmmm?

theoretically uranus has east and west poles, in case you think approximately this is sideways spin... North and South poles are the places that get carry of the backside quantity of light and warmth because of the planets place to the solar. for the reason that they are on the perfect and backside, there is far less direct easy hitting them. As such, they are lots chillier then the the remainder of the planet and variety frozen varieties of the main abundent liquid on our planet.. water. north and south are attitude positions. actually east and west are used to describe the projectory of the solar because it crosses the sky, and north and south describe the extremities of that course... So theoretically no planet could have north and south poles. besides the shown fact that in case you think approximately it based on the truly revolutions of the planet, Uranus is the ideal candidate for that through its particularly tilted revolution.

When this book of the Bible was written, the belief was that the earth was flat being held up by four pillars. Remember that the flat earth theory was still with us when Columbus sailed west to discover land we now call America.

because you cant. the north and south poles are located by a compass and by the fact thats where the axis of the earth rotates. where do you advise we put the east and west poles and how would we find them? if you travel east you will keep traveling east. if you go north you will sooner or later start heading south

there is no such thing as the east and west poles.

One can only go north or south for just so far before you go in the other direction.
There is no end to heading east, or heading west. Both are infinite.

You gotta keep in mind that the guy who wrote that still thought the world was flat. It made perfect sense to him that it would have corners, because a circle was too confusing. Especially when it went in all directions, like a ball.
