I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF A FREAKY SITUATION THAT'S GOING BEYOND CONTROL AND DRIVING ME INSANE! I'M SHAKING AND SWEATING FOR SOME REASON, HIGHLY UNCONTROLLABLY. I'M LOSING MY ABILITY TO THINK STRAIGHT AND FEAR FAILING TESTS! IT'S SO BAD THAT IT WILL BE DIFFICULT FOR MY FRIENDS TO RESTRAIN ME AND TRY TO CALM ME DOWN! I THINK BEING TIED TO A CHAIR IS THE BEST WAY TO CALM ME DOWN, BUT TO ME IT WILL FEEL LIKE TORTURE! WHAT DO U THINK OF THAT IDEA? I DON'T WANT TO BE MENTALLY TESTED, I HEARD MENTAL TESTS ARE PAINFULL AND THAT THE DOCTORS WILL USE HYPODERMIC NEEDLES!

calm down. . .just get your friends to sit you down on some couch and keep you there, and just breath. that is always the best way. but if it keeps going on for over 3 hours or so, call a doctor!

You sound like the mother lode of panic attack/anxiety disorder. Talk to a psychologist or counselor and try to piece together when you started feeling this way and what was the trigger. Start a journal and let it all out. You are the only one who needs to read the journal, but it can help get perspective. There are some things in you head and heart that are in such conflict you can't sit still. Mental testing is premature. First, sort out what is really going on. If you can try yoga or meditation when you feel an episode coming on and take back control of yourself. You can do it!!

Sounds like you're having a panic attack. I've only suffered from one and didn't get through it so well, and I honestly don't know what you should do in that type of situation. It's okay to go to a doctor - "mental tests" aren't painful; those people are trying to help you live your best life.
Also sounds like you may be suffering from test anxiety - one of my friend's daughters suffers from that (as I'm sure many other people do), and the school lets her take her tests alone in a less stressful environment. Sometimes the teachers even tell her that her test is actually a worksheet and she aces them, not knowing they are tests.

Go see a doctor! They can only make things better, I promise.

Mental testng is not painful and has nothing to do with needles. It's just a series of questions that help the therapist understand your state of mind.
It seems to me that the situation you're in is the cause of your symptoms. You need to talk to a qualified therapist. Get help! See your doctor or a good psychologist can really make a difference and they don't use medicines. Sometimes just talking can help. Also, try to get out of the bad situation you are in. Get help with that if you can't do it on your own. There's no shame in needing help once in a while. Good luck!

Coming from someone who is VERY experienced.... You are having anxiety and pannic attacks. Try this first and if it doesn't work, try the next step. First, stop drinking Caffeine and cut out sugars for at least a month. If that doesn't rid of the problem, get a hair test by a Homeopathic Doctor and you'll find out what's going on in your body and it is painless, not to mention, very innexpensive. From there, the HD should be able to get you a natural remedy that can rid your body of anything bad going on inside. I hope that helps.

Looking at your profile, I see that you've been freaking out for a while now. My advise is to discuss this situation with your school nurse or your parents or close relative. They will see that you get some help. Mental tests involve no pain or needles.... in fact it's more of an assessment.... you just talk with the doctor / counselor. Let them help you and get you out of this situation. Take care. I wish the best for you.

I was in a weird situation once and I could not think straight nor could I stop crying. Try as I might, I just could not think of anything else. Was afraid I'd lose my job and was barely functional. I finally went to my doctor and he gave me some Prozac. That made me into a walking zombie..did not feel anything! So switched to St John's Wort and deep breathing. It got me through that time and I've used it in other stressful times. Now anytime I know that **** is hitting the fan, I make myself do very deep breathing and a bit of yoga. Sure hope this helps ya!

First of all, no one's going to poke you with a needle. There are several things you can do. Holistically, you can try a tea from Celestial Seasonings called "Tension Tamer." Their Chamomile tea is very good too. The next thing, even though I know you don't want to hear this, is you need to go to a doctor. It doesn't have to be a psychiatrist, it can be your GP. My guess is you have a bad case of anxiety disorder. There are medications for this. I know you are averse to any kind of intervention but you also need to keep in mind this is a solvable problem and you can beat it with help. Good luck!

Go see a Psychiatrist. They do not use needles, they will access you and find out the source of these feelings. You may need medication management, along with Therapy, which would help you work things thru. You should get help!! Right now you are reaching out to everyone, which shows you want to be helped and gain control of your feelings. Good Luck

First of all, think of what is freaking you out! iF you can't think of anything, there then isn't any reason to freak about it. If you find yourself becoming bizarre, then sit in a cross-legged position on the floor, make yourself away from all sounds and close your eyes. Breathe deeply in and out. This should help much. Then do something that calms you- perhaps reading your favorite book, watching television, or even cooking.
