If you use hot cocoa mix, you will need to cut back on the sugar, and it won't be as dark.

Don't type in caps.
Hot cocoa powder is highly processed and has too many added sugars to be used for baking.
The best powder for baking is natural cocoa powder (it's good in chili also).

Hot Cocoa mix contains sugar, powdered milk, sugar, and a stabilizer to make it thick so it is not for cooking, but for drinking. It would come out as a thick sweeeeeet mess in your pan and probably not worth trying to eat.

No. The difference between them is to great. You are setting yourself up for failure. Cocoa has a long shelf life, so if you buy a small container you can use it numerous before it is too old.

no you must use baking cocoa like hersheys or nestles you cannot use hot cocoa it will be junk.always use what your recipe calls for no substitutes unless the recipe states so.good luck. i love no bakes but only when they are made right.
