One of my friends that is visiting me has had hiccups for 10 days straight every 2 minutes or so. He has went to a specialist and they did an endoscopy and said MAYBE it was an ulcer; they weren't sure. After going all the way down and looking into his stomach. They gave him prilosec and that was it. No other help. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. And he's already went through all the home remedy books, lol.

it helped the girl relieve herself of her endless hiccups...

Hiccups are purely spasms of the diaphragm and what works for one guy or woman would not continually artwork for yet another. I take deep breaths protecting the air deep in my lungs as long as i will while not having relatively dizzy as water isn't attainable. each and every so often taking and ingesting water without combating facilitates. maximum severe ingredient is to sparkling your head and relax at the same time as doing this.

The only thing that ever works for me is a spoonful of peanut butter. It changes your breathing patterns just right because of its stickiness.
Not sure if that's in the home remedy book, but it's fool-proof at my house.

tell him to put a lemon wedge in his mouth and hold his breath...then look at him and say hiccup right now! it will work for sure
