No its not.. you have to let them in.. otherwise its trespassing...without a court order they cant!! If this has happened to you get a lawer!! good luck..smile

The other are generally right but if the dog catcher has a reasonable belief that there is an animal in immediate danger then they are probably allowed.

Only Person that may enter your house without permission or warrant is a Bounty Hunter. If they believe a Fugitive has stayed or living there they can enter without warrant due to a law from the 1800's.

That was section IV of the Bill Of Rights. So, yes, he needs a search warrant.

not a "dog catcher" but if you have been reported for abuse or neglect an animal rights officer can in some states without a warrant

Legal no not with out your permission. Permission must be give by a person who owns or reside in the home.

I don't think so. I think he would need to bring the police with him.. Dog catchers really can only catch dogs, otherwise they need the police to inforce anything.

If he is invited or has a warrant ( but i have never herd of that )
But if no one said come in and no warrant,I call that trespassing.

no. that's trespassing on private property. its the same thing as if a masked man walked into your house. its illegal.
