I want to have beautiful highlights from the sun. How can I quicken the process? Every year, my brown hair gets reddish gold, but I want them soon! Please help!

This is what you do (done it before):
1. Get lemon juice form the grocery store
2. Get a Qtip and dip it in the lemon juice
(really works to use a Qtip to get more precise lines)
3. Start at the ROOTS of your hair in the areas that you want highlighted, then brush Qtip downward putting less pressure on the tips (it looks way better it you dont put as much lemon juice on the ends)
4. DON'T move your hair around until it is completely dried in the SUN (beleive me...the sun's light works way better than artificial light to make the highlights come out better)
Good luck and I hope it looks cute!
P.S.- Sun- in really doesnt work well- i tried it before and it doesnt look very natural. it also isnt very good for your hair.

My hair is really dark brown, and last summer, I used practically an entire bottle of Sun-In while I was at the beach, hoping for some distinct hightlights. In the end, my hair did end up looking sunstreaked, but the highlights may come out looking a little more unnatural than what you're looking for.

SUN IN!

You can buy it in any store pretty much, just spray it in, and sit in the sun.
