It was a failed attempt to teach Creation in schools.

It's embarrassing for the Christians, really...

When fundies call evolution a theory they only prove they flunked 3rd grade science and don't know what a theory is. In science, facts are explained in reference to other facts and this larger explanatory model is a "theory." Fundies mistake "theory" to mean "speculation." But actually, "speculation" is what their Bible is full of. They have no facts to explain in reference to other facts because they explain all with speculation in reference to their pre-scientific religious mythologies. We have testable evidence of evolution and adaptation. They have none of creation, but when they can find some credentialed hacks willing to sell themselves to the Discovery Institute like Vegas whores, they propound scientific sounding gobbledygook that is simply a rephrasing of the Genesis myth, and dishonestly try to sneak it under the radar of school boards with a knowingly false pretense that they aren't really trying to have their religion taught as scientific fact and repress the actual facts to maintain an ignorant assent to their holy book's primitive campfire tales.

Creation science is the study of scientific data and how it applies or does not apply to the creation of the universe by an intelligent designer. Just like the theory of evolution which is based on the interpretation of specific data...the creation scientist sees specific data as proof of intelligent design. See www.coreresearch and www.TheCreationNetwork.org. These are both groups of reputable scientists who believe that the data (scientific) proves creation by intelligent design. You will also see links to several other sites from other scientific organizations that are working on this issue also.

Creation science teaches that God created the earth and the universe in six literal 24-hour days. Gravity is not a theory; it's a law.

christian science is the attempt to prove mythology using scientific processes. since its impossible its a pointless endeavour

yet the morons keep trying....so its more funny than anything else.

look at it this way, if i came to you and said i was trying to use science to prove that leprechauns existed....would you see me as a retard or as someone whose searching for "truth".

in order for something to be assessed by science it has to first EXIST.

you dont see anyone trying to prove Zeus existed using science, do you?

It means morons don't understand an oxymoron.

Creationism and Science are wholly incompatible.

I'm always embarrassed when Christians attempt to argue on scientific grounds rather than philosophical ones.

It means religious dogma cloaked in scientific jargon. Its intent is to decieve people into rejecting Evolution.
