I don't think they look sad and worried. Mine is always bouncy around and happy all the time. They are fearless, confident little dogs ....and you can tell....they always walk in a very proud manner! They are the best!!!

they look sad to try and get what they want from you, they are experts at it but i don't think it is just jack russells who do this they are just better at it than most other dogs

Mine is not sad or worried he is a happy little chap always ready to play, he is the best dog I have ever owned so loving and friendly to everyone.

Mines happy all the time, I have never seen him frown. He is the most hyperist dog I have ever owned. And at the wonderful age of 12 years he's still going strong.

my lil jack russell is the happiest guy EVER! but i do know what u mean how they can look sad, its those droopy lil eyes. i dont think he is upset or sad just the way God made my lil guy!

Ha! They know you're a soft touch, thats why. They don't look sad when they're playing 'kill the trouser leg' I can tell you. Are you holding crisps or biscuits? That often brings it on.

mine doesn't look sad or worried lol. She looks happy and confident all the time.
