I am righteous in the eyes of God because of what Jesus did for me (us). But I would like to think that I am also humble and thoughtful with just a hint of arrogance thrown in for good measure. Cruel...no.

Righteous means you follow divine law.
It's doing what you feel in your heart and mind are right along with divine law.
Someone who is striving to be the best person they can while trying to bring lasting happiness to as many people as they can--while following divine law.
I try my best and often fall short, but get right back up because of the atonement of Jesus Christ.

Means living in accordance with what you feel is right. This could vary from person to person. I try to be realistically helpful to people, I mean that I try to offer support that is not outside of my bounds to give, and that will do more than satisfy a momentary craving.

Yes I am righteous...made so through the blood of Christ, my Savior. It means God sees me as justified and as His child. I try to follow Jesus' example in the way I live and treat others.

Righteous= acting in accord with divine or moral law : free from guilt or sin...The bible defines it as being in ...Right Standing with God.
Jesus took my guilt and shame, and delivered me from sin..so yes..according to the bible, his sacrifice is my righteousness.

Yes, I AM righteous.
Ditto............
(I got born-again, spirit recreated, that made me in "Right Standing with GOD", which is "Righteousness").
Thats all righteousness means.
Has nothing to do with how good or bad you are.
Ditto....again!..............
