really to be honest your best bet would be to buy a car from a private seller, and have a good mechanic whom ever it might be check it out. try autotrader.com you can see lots of cars online that way, if you do go to a dealership for a used car they may give you the run around plus a high price. also try police auctions my boyfriend bought a practically new car with only 26000 miles for 3000 dollars but you have to get a dealers license from the DMV or know someone who has one and can go for you. good luck
