how do I keep it scrunched until the morning? I have no way to take a shower in the morning. I know how to scrunch my hair already. If I put it in a messy bun will it keep its shape when I take it down in the morning? Do I need to do anything to it in the morning?

My hair is a little bit on the thick side and kind of wavy. It is about 3 inches bellow my shoulders.

My hair is very thick and I have ringlet type curls all over (I hate it) and when I wake up in the morning it looks nothing like it did the night before. I'm guessing you use some type of product in your hair (hairspray, gel, mousse, etc.) and this only adds to the *reshaping* that takes place while you sleep. I have tried everything to make my hair look the same way it did the night before and nothing has worked for me thus far. So instead, I add water to my hair in the morning when I dont have time to shower and re-scrunch....or if your really late, you can always use the last resort and pull it back in a ponytail because with curly hair, it almost never looks messy that way. Good luck and I know what you're going through :))

I dont know if that would work or not. I have curly ish hair, and it works for me, in the morning it is really nice looking, kinda messy but I like it that way. Something you could try is this: put gel in your hair and sleep with you hair in a pillow case or some how wrapped in a bandana so all the hair is on your head, sort of like if you had a shower cap on.....if you get what I mean. I read about it on some site, it might work and it might not but its probally worth a try. Good luck!!!!

Hmmm nicely i'm no longer fairly constructive in case your searching for wavy or curly once you awaken so i am going to provide you with some different recommendations..by the way i love the hair percentyou gave me of paris! i imagine i'm gonna do it prob monday, cuz my hairs already straightened. ok that's what i do at the same time as i elect my hair reallll wavy. moist hair(do this about an hour earlier mattress, so your hair remains damp once you're about to pass to mattress.) scrunch it (i exploit Aussie Sprunch spray) then i positioned it up in bun till i'm waiting to pass to mattress at the same time as i am going to pass to mattress i take it down and scrunch it an additional suitable time, the bun type of keeps the wave in it for you. that's non-obligatory, in case you elect it extremely WAVY, braid your hair ideal earlier mattress when you stated all those steps, reckoning on how wavy you elect it.. the smaller, more suitable braids you do, the smaller and bigger waves you receives.you may want to do 2 or 3 braids for a more suitable organic wave. once you awaken upload some more suitable spray and scrunch it somewhat more suitable, and it would stay all day! For Curly... do each of the steps i listed above (except the braiding) and positioned some curlers on your hair-use foam so that you'll sleep in them. in case you do not own any curlers, no longer too situation! you should use the former sock trick, take some previous cotton socks, or any cloth you are able to tie and wrap your hair round it, then tie them, and sleep with it like that (if this isn't sufficient element only type in curling your hair with socks) wish i helped! I have curly hair and it looks best when I shower at night, put some product in, and then just go to bed with it wet. It comes out with no frizz and really nice curls.

You could try showering, put the products in, and then tigh a t-shirt around your head. Sleep with shirt on, and take it off in the morning. Do the shirt by putting the shirt on your body, and then as if you were pulling it over your head start to pull it off, but when it gets to you hairline stop and tie it.

I don't think so it'll probably come out.. So maybe wash your hair tonight and scrunch it in the morning?

probably not a good idea. just guessing. I know it wouldn't work for me and I certainly wouldn't suggest it to a client.
