Depends on several things. Did they date for a long time? If so, is she a good friend? Moving in on an ex may cause the friendship to end. I would not do it, unless the relationship was short lived and they did not "love" each other. Moving in on a long relationship will terminate the friendship or cause many waves. Things will not be the same, so be sure it is worth it.

It really depends on the maturity level of the individuals involved, why they broke up, and what the relationship is between them now.
If they broke up because they both decided it wasn't working out then there's no reason they wouldn't want to see the other person happy in a new relationship.
If the breakup was nasty and they don't get along now then you have to choose between the friendship and the 'potential' of pursuing the ex.

Unfortunately, in some cases, You would wait forever! You wouldn't want your friend dating your ex. Now, if this person is no longer your friend then anytime is ok, but if you are still considering this person a friend, then you shouldn't want their seconds, no matter how hott someone might be.

Typically you shouldn't move in your friends ex. But if you absolutely must, ask your friend first if it's okay. You don't want to lose a friendship over a relationship that may not last. Trust me, friends are more important. Bros before hoes or vice versa....chicks before *icks. :P

NEVER! The first rule of girlfriends is you never date a friends ex. I don't care how compatible you think you are. And if you violatethis rule, be sure that you can afford to loose her as a friend.

well thats kinda hard to determine! but you want to make sure there arent those kinda feelings between ur friend and their ex! becuz if you do it to early you might lose a friend and its better late than never so if i were you i would step back for a minute to make sure that there is nothing there. and you may think about going and talking to ur friend about it!

You might want to reconsider...trying to date your friends ex is really not such a good idea.If your friend finds out about your intentions, he might end the friendship. There are a lot of other women out there for you.
