We went to St. Lucia and stayed at one of the Sandals resorts(Golf and Spa) in a private villa, not the hotel. It was beautiful there! There are 3 Sandals resorts in St. Lucia alone...all are different. Theres the Golf & Spa, a watersports/more active one, and just a regular resort. All beautiful! We flew from Atlanta to Montego Bay, Jamaica and then from Montego Bay to St. Lucia. A total of about 5 hrs of flying and WORTH it! Air Jamaica is the way to go!

My fiancee and I are looking to go to Petit St. Vincent for our honeymoon. It is a small private island in the Grenadines that house 20 or so cottages. It is a "semi" inclusive resort providing a couple of meals a day and afternoon tea. It really looks fantastic and we can't wait to go.. You should definately consider it if it is in your price range. (approx $6000 for an 8 day 7 night stay including airfare from Dallas) And for the user who suggested Dallas, I would say not a chance. I love living here, but it's not a great place to visit..

My wife and I went to El Dorado Royale in Mexico. It is about 20 or 30 minutes away from downtown Cancun. The resort is a 5 star, and it is 18 and up only. Just read up on it, it's awesome.

I can't think of a more beautiful place to go than Greece. Thought about Australia or NZ, but by the time I'm over the jet lag, it would be time to go. As for a cruise, I've heard good and bad.

I personally loved the cruise we went on for our honeymoon. It was very relaxing and fun; it felt really nice to be pampered.

Try a cruise, thats what we did. They are usually less expensive, you can visit several places instead of one, food is free, tons of fun stuff to do on the ship, you have formal nights and casual nights. Great way to go.
