Hi. I used to be over 100 kilo and then lost 45 kilos and not long time ago I used to be proud of my natural beauty, my normal height and weight. But recently I cry all the time when I see that all covergirls and the girls in music videos have silicone and other plastic surgeries, because I think men love them. I am too obsessed to have plastic surgery although I cant afford. Even if lots of guys have told me that I look very pretty I never believe them. Sometimes I even feel ashamed to be seen naked. If men like natural beauty then why the hell there are all silicone girls on magazines and music videos?

Those girls aren't real. The computer fixes them so they look EXACTLY perfect, thats not even how they look in real life! Just remember that any guy that judges a girl solely on her looks is a JERK and if your beautiful on the inside that will shine through your physical appearance. Personality is what counts!

Sounds like you are letting the wrong things influence you. You hit the nail on the head when you said magazines and videos - this is fantasy, not reality. It is packaged so that you buy their stuff, it is all about selling, selling, selling. They market their packages so you think you have to buy the newest, best looking whatever, but that will never be the end of it, because tomorrow there is another one that is prettier, better, etc. If you let your life be controlled by fakery and fantasy, you need to take a deep breath, and step back and look at what is going on.
Focus on your assets, look at Queen Latifah, or Kimberly Locke, or Kelly Pickler, or Kate Winslet. Different sizes, different body proportions. What makes them prettier or better than anyone else? Nothing that you cannot do for yourself - makeup, hair, clothing.
BTW, silicone is not a natural substance so you can imagine what it will do to the body eventually, so keep it natural girl - you are really are beautiful.

Don't cry over those girls. The silicone girls on magazines and music videos aren't anything wonderful- they just look like novelty sex items. Magazines and music videos have them because sex sells. They're the type of girls you hook up with and never really call again.

Men do like natural beauty in someone that they want to be with. I think people have gotten too caught up in trying to compare themselves with people who have plastic surgery, as if those who do look so much better. I've always found the fakeness to be really obvious and unattractive, and the men I know feel the same way.

And don't make a home video of you dancing; you will just look like a cheap whore who wants attention.

Don't be ashamed. How old are you? Ask your doctor if you're normal weight. If you aren't, then here are some tips.

1. Don't stress yourself to eat right, but don't just go ahead and eat all you want.
2. Don't go on one of those crash diets, because they are SO bad for your health.
3. Exersize twice a day for an hour for best result. (Yes I know that's a little more than usual, but it works better).
4. Eat a lot of fruit and vegetables.
5. An apple a day will help SO much.

If you aren't over weight, than don't sweat it! You are fine just the way you are.

All boys MEAN it when they say you are beautiful. Cause you ARE. Be nice to your body. Don't cry about! That only makes matters worse. Don't remind yourself on how you think you are ugly, remind yourself how you KNOW you are perfect.

Make sure you know all of this, cause it can efect your health.

If you have any questions, e-mail or IM me.

I know how u feel. I sometimes cry too but I get it off my mind. Try having a fun day. Go get a mani and pedi and then hang out with your friends and see a movie. The only reason why those ppl look like tht on mags is because ppl, for some reason which i dont know, think tht is "the look". Trust me almost every person i know doesnt have tht look and dont let tht trick you. I have gone through years of class mates making fun of me because i was always short and looking like 5 years younger than all my friends. I looked on the bright side and found tht when we are all 50 I will still look 45. Just find something good about yourself [which i know there has to be something] and never forget it and dont do anything to your body that you dont want to. If you dont want to lose weight than dont do it. Do whatever u want..its your life!

I used to be the same way and lost so much weight everyone started to worry about me but I still thought I was fat and hated myself. Then when I became the size of my naturally size 1 friend, I knew something had to change. My boyfriend had to help me and motivate me everyday. But I gained weight and now I can look in the mirror and say "You really are beautiful." Those images? f*ck those girls! Those pictures aren't real, and those girls are exactly what you said FAKE! Guys only like to *look* at their enhanced body parts, it's different, they're fascinated. But in reality they don't want a girl that's about to break in half or is so big they can't play with them. Wouldn't you get paranoid if your guy was abnormally hot? Well, guys want a girl that they know is hot but still in a subtle way. For a serious relationship they want a girl that they won't have to worry about being all over other guys. They want personality! At one point I was so depressed that I literally forgot how to laugh. But I forced myself to. I forced myself to be happy and not look down on myself. And, guess what after a while it gets easier and more natural. So, be happy! Being upset's really not worth it, trust me. There are so many things out there to do and explore. So stop worrying and enjoy your life. Smile. And stop looking at the media it's all a bunch of lies. Now the sun outside? That's real. That's a reason to emerge and go play. It's *your* life, live it.

Well, Shorty I, people in my school call me anerexic as well. I have the same problem. Maybe a little make up will help you look a little more pretty. If you already do that then change ur hair. That worked for me and now I can tell myself I'm pretty. If other people think ur pretty, you are pretty! Don't worry about it. Figure and beauty isn't the most important part of life. Go to www.quiz.ivillage.com and hit diet and fitness. It has all theses quizes and ideas about ur body. Example. If u get pain in ur lower back ur shape is a ruler. If u get pain in the middle of the back you are a spoon. If you get pain in the upper part of ur back u r an hour glass figure. I only know that quiz. Hope I could help!!!!!!!

hi miss, i don't know u r a beautiful or not, but if u are not u have to forget that because just pretty face is not everything, their is so many other things u may have , like u may be intelligent, and kind etc. every time u see mirror just says
"i am the prettiest girl in this whole world"
and the girls they r doing these cosmetic surgery and silicon they don't believe themselves, if u believe your self u don't have to do all these things. so try to trust yourself that u r a very beautiful.

That isn't really a question no offense...... If you want to get plastic surgery that bad then save up. Only most guys in my school prefer girls without plastic surgery. It makes them more real. They also like girls with lots of confidence.....You should be proud of yourself because you are pretty and are 100% real!!!!:)

i have worked at many fashion shows as a dresser while i was in school. trust me when i tell you models do not have perfect bodies, faces, hair, or skin. they have great makeup artist that create an image. most models are plain jane girls that can wear makeup really well. also a lot of models have body issues as well. the girls in the magazine are airbrushed. it is all a fantasy made to sell magazines.
in the end men want women who are confident and comfortable in there own skin. stop crying girl be happy with what you have!!
