Personally, I think it was all a plot by Voldemort.
But Gandalf and Yoda could have put a stop to it, if they had acted in time.
Sorry, but this question is no less ridiculous than my answer. :)

No, Satan was not challenging God. He was deceiving man. His only purpose on the earth is to try to pull man away from God. More so now, because his time is short.
God was not overcome by Satan or by Adam's sin. He already had a plan in progress and knew what would happen because, Satan was sent to the earth before Adam. God knew Satan's nature when He placed Adam and Eve here with him.
God placed Satan as ruler of the earth.
Our restoration with God through Jesus death, is what restores God's plan for us to live in Paradise with Him.

Satan also known as Lucifer has alway's wanted to be God. That was the purpose of the war in Heaven. He executed a rebellion in Heaven. That is why he was thrown out of Heaven .God is not a murderer and that's what he would be if He had killed Adam and Eve.And Satan didn't know what would happen. No i don't think the garden of Eden will be restored the new Heaven and earth will be better.I believe the new earth will be a garden.

At the time of the Adam and Eve story Satan had already fallen along with many other angels like him who refused to serve God.
By tempting Eve, Satan definitely was challenging the explicit command of God and luring Eve to do the same.
He continues this type of delusion to this very day.

Satan was tempting Adam and Eve. God gave them free will. They made their choice and paid the price.
People are still doing that every day.
God is starting anew with each new baby. Each one can choose God's way or Satan's way. The choice to change is also always there. Jesus came and gave His life in sacrifice for our sins. Accept Him as Savior and that choice will get you into the Light when this life ends.

There were millions of other angels watching.
Truly what this should tell us is Gods world was never without sin and the world he created is just as corrupt as the world he came from, therefore creating a myth that gods world of heaven is perfect and with out sin, but what does it say about Satan that is was being oppressed and millions of angles followed him and that eve had enough of god and ate.

Not only was he challenging the word of God but also he was challenging Adam and Eve. He was testing Eve to truly claim that her devotion to God was one that was true.

First of all, unlike God, Satan is not omniscient and does not know everything as God does. Neither is he all powerful. While he is influential, he does not have the power to control us except to the extent we allow him to. And although he knows he is doomed, in his arrogance he works to deceive us into believing God is not all powerful either. He attempts to foster doubt in us as to God's authority, love, and dominion. I believe in God's promises, truth, justice, fairness, authority, and love. Eden will be reestablished.

SATAN CHALLENGED GOD LONG TIME BEFORE ADAM AND EVE, THAT IS WHY SATAN ONCE LUCIFER WAS EXPELLED FROM HEAVEN.
AND THE ONLY REASON SATAN RULES THIS WORLD IS BECAUSE US CHRISTIANS ALLOW HIM TO, BECAUSE JESUSCHRIST HIMSELF TOLD US TO ESTABLISH HIS KINGDOM HERE ON EARTH GIVING US THE AUTHORITY TO DO IT DUE TO THE FACT THAT THANKS TO JESUS WE ARE NOW AGAIN SONS OF GOD ALMIGHTY THE FATHER OF JESUS.

1) Is Y!Answers lagging for any of you? This is the first question I've seen in a while.
2) God must have seen it happen and allowed it because if he hadn't known that it would happen he is not omnipotent.
