whats going on?

one of my guy friends(i'll call him joe) tells me that his best friend likes me and asks me what i think of him. I kinda avoided the question since i was shocked because i was just thinking how i liked him for the past 2 weeks. i've been catching joe's friend(i'll call him tom) looking at me in class and stuff and always showing up where i am. joe told me that tom liked me about 2 weeks ago but tom hasn't asked me out or anything yet.(me and tom dont really know each other so we dont talk really) I guess maybe its because i didn't excatly tell joe how i felt about tom but now i think it would be dumb to bring it up again. i think that tom still likes me because he's still acting the same as the past 2 weeks but im not sure what to do as far as going out with him an getting to know him. I know he's probaly shy but the problem is,so am i. what should i do?

Go up to him and say hi, then start a conversation. Don't be shy, do something brave. How would you feel if you had the chance to hook up but didn't because both of you are shy?

Quite simple. I don't think there's anything wrong with bringing it up again to 'Joe'. All you need to do is say 'Remember when you asked me what I think of 'Tom'? Well - I wasn't sure before, but I actually think I kinda like him'. Let your friend take care of the rest. That will give 'Tom' the confidence he needs to take the next step.

its very hard to be shy and ask out a guy and vice versa.get joe to meet you and to bring tom for a milkshake or something. everything will go from there.you;ll see.before you know it you;ll all be talking up a storm and the shyness will of melted away.

just try talking to "joe" and be like, so who do you like? blah blah blah and then be like oh well i like tom kind of haha didn't you say he liked me? or somehting like that. be casual
