Before one can rid of bad luck or gain good luck... we need to understand the definition of luck!
To understand luck we need to believe in the concept of renunciation... the transmigration of soul from one manifestation to another.
Our soul is on its cosmic journey... it has manifested the body! Owing to the accumulation of negative karma from the previous manifestations... one faces bad luck in life in the present manifestation. This is not so always but in most cases we may not have done anything wrong in the present life yet we face bad luck. Why?
For the simple reason that the Prarabdha karma of the previous manifestations is fructifying in the present manifestation! If the Prarabdha karma is negative in nature... we face bad luck. If positive... we win a lottery!
No human being in the normal circumstances can know when our Prarabdha karma of the previous manifestations would fructify. Suppose we are traveling in the present manifestation at number 45. We do not know whether we have negative or positive balance of Prarabdha karma in store. And the effect of negative Prarabdha karma with a balance of minus five strikes us. Our balance of life reduces to 40... There is no remedy other than to face our bad luck!
We cannot remold our past... but we can definitely shape our present and future.
In the circumstances it is best that we continue earning Punya karma (a positive balance of karma) in present life to nullify the negative effects of Prarabdha karma that we might face one-day. This is the only remedy available to human beings in present life. No human being can ever get out of the clutches of Prarabdha karma... come whatever may!

We all go thru phases of good & bad. There is nothing that U can do to bring u good luck. A rabbit's foot doesn't work i know that. Maybe change Ur life style. No pun intended but good luck

Well I am of Irish descent, and we believe that if you kiss the Blarney Stone you will be blessed with good luck! All you have to do is purchase a round-trip ticket to Ireland!
