Mine tend to have a little nap after meals but I've never noticed how long each rest period was! I have one fish who only moves if he's eating and during the day it takes a lot to move him! I don't know how much swimming he does after his meal because he rarely moves till the lights go out!
Actually the answer is No! Swimming is the only way fish move! Even at rest they are moving and can react in a split second!
