My uncle's brother recently died, not blood uncle. How should I apporach him about it, because he has done a lot for me.

Thing is I'm just not a really emotional person, so how should I apporach him about, so I don't sound inscere or anything?

take it from a person who has had many close family losses. no one wants to hear how sorry you feel for them. Tell him that you are there for him and if there is anything at all that you can do, you will be glad to. I am sure that he knows you are not an emotional person. Just be there for him.

are you concerned about him?do you care how he's feeling right now? if so, then there is no way you could sound insincere. just call him and tell him how sorry you are for his loss.ask him if there is anything you can do for him. maybe take him for a burger and just let him talk. just by acknowledging your concern, you're doing the right thing.

All you need to say is that you are sorry for his loss and let him know you are there for him if he needs anything!
