Yes! I had it at a Japanese restaurant, and I loved it. You can buy it at Trader Joe's, too. Yum!

I'm with TOM, the texture and consistancy was god awful the last time I had it. There are some good green tea ice creams out there, it really does exist and I've had it. The last time I had it the texture was all wrong. If there's such a thing as dry ice cream, like a freezer burn weirdness, then lots of the green tea variety has it. It's hit or miss at best.

No, but I used to work in a coffee shop and we had green tea smoothies and green tea chai mix. Those were really good. I'm sure the ice cream would be great too. You should try a green tea chai if you get to a Java City. It's excellent!

Yes I had green tea ice cream at a Dryer's Scoop Shop in San Francisco one time and it was very yummy! I liked that it was sweet and yet wasn't too heavy as some ice creams can be.

yes it's suuuper goood. but you have to be careful cause some ice cream brands that make the green tea flavour aren't all that good because the green tea flavour may be too weak or not even real green tea. so i only eat green tea ice cream at sushi restaraunts because most of the time their green tea ice cream is authentic :)

I, personally, do not like it. I always go to this sushi restaurant in my town and they offer rainbow sherbet or green tea ice cream for dessert. I always pick rainbow sherbet! :)

I had it at a sushi restaurant in San Francisco once and it was nasty. It was more the quality than the taste, but it was such bad quality that it over-shadowed the taste.
